At the height on the previous day, more than 28k electricity consumers in the state were experiencing outages.

Moist weather were expected to linger along large portions of the state's eastern regions this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.

Tuesday was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across multiple regions of both states.
